Our specialty is Orton-Gillingham structured literacy intervention, with additional support in reading, writing, math, homework help, parent coaching, and adult literacy.

Subject Specific Mobile Services
Reading Comprehension
Strengthen your child's ability to understand, analyze, and think critically about what they read. Instruction is tailored to each learner and focuses on vocabulary, comprehension strategies, fluency, and building confidence with both fiction and nonfiction texts.
Writing
Develop strong writing skills through personalized instruction in sentence structure, grammar, organization, paragraph writing, essays, creative writing, and editing. Lessons are designed to help students become confident, effective communicators.
Math
Build a solid foundation in mathematics through individualized instruction that meets students where they are. Whether reinforcing classroom concepts or addressing learning gaps, lessons focus on problem-solving, number sense, computation, and mathematical confidence.
Science
Bring science to life with engaging, hands-on learning that supports classroom instruction. Students receive personalized help with scientific concepts, vocabulary, inquiry skills, and test preparation while developing curiosity and critical thinking.
Social Studies
Help students connect with history, geography, civics, and economics through interactive lessons that make learning meaningful. Tutoring focuses on building background knowledge, strengthening study skills, and preparing students for classroom success.

Families may apply for:
• 25% reduced tuition-$56 (60 minutes)
• 50% reduced tuition-$38 (60 minutes)
• Full scholarship (limited)
Approval is based on financial need and available funding.
Payment Policy
• Payment due before or at the time of service
• 24-hour cancellation notice required
• Late cancellations may be charged 50%
• No-shows are charged full price
• Package sessions expire monthly unless otherwise agreed

Owner & Orton-Gillingham Trained Instructor
The founder of Road to Reading Mobile Academy and a dedicated educator with over 21 years of experience helping students achieve academic success. Throughout her career, she has served as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, reading specialist, English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, instructional leader, and mentor to new educators.
Sarah has completed more than 210 hours of Orton-Gillingham training and is passionate about using structured, evidence-based literacy instruction to help struggling readers, including students with dyslexia, build confidence and become successful, independent learners.
Her diverse educational background allows her to understand each learner's unique strengths and challenges while creating individualized plans that foster growth and achievement. Sarah believes every student can learn with the right instruction, encouragement, and support. Through Road to Reading Mobile Academy, she is committed to bringing high-quality, personalized education directly to families and making exceptional learning opportunities accessible to all.
